#GivingTuesday: Creating a world in which women and girls are empowered

Posted on November 20, 2018  |  Related Issues:

Imagine a world in which a woman or girl could walk into a health clinic and have all of her health needs met, free of discrimination, financial barriers, or bureaucratic inefficiencies. Her needs may include family planning and contraception; STI diagnosis and treatment; HIV prevention, treatment, and care; maternity care; safe abortion; and gender-based violence prevention and care. She can make decisions about herself and her body without fear and undue influence.

When women and girls are empowered, communities thrive.

We believe every woman and girl should be empowered to live her life to the fullest by protecting her sexual and reproductive health and rights. We hold the U.S. government accountable to its global commitments toward women's sexual health, reproductive justice, and gender equality.

This year's #GivingTuesday will take place on November 27, and will kick off the holiday season by inspiring people to give back. We would be honored if you stood in solidarity with us by donating to CHANGE this #GivingTuesday.

As an independent organization that does not accept U.S. government funding, your support goes a long way. It enables us to advocate fairly for stronger U.S. policies that take into account the needs and rights of the most marginalized women and girls around the world.

From our CHANGE family to yours, we thank you for helping us turn imagination into reality and creating a better future for women and girls everywhere.
