FAQs

Frequently asked questions about what we do and why we do it

Where does CHANGE work?

CHANGE primarily works with policymakers in Washington, D.C.; however, everything we do is informed by our international colleagues and field visits to countries that receive U.S. foreign assistance. CHANGE also works with and trains U.S.-based, state-, regional-, and local-level advocates to build a vibrant, diverse, nationwide movement.

Does CHANGE have offices overseas?

CHANGE does not currently have offices overseas. CHANGE previously maintained offices in India and Peru that supported short-term projects. Since the close of the projects, CHANGE has continued to develop and conduct field research with colleagues from diverse organizations all over the world.

Does CHANGE give funding to other groups?

No, CHANGE does not provide grants to other organizations.

Who funds CHANGE?

Our work is supported by private foundations and individuals. CHANGE does not receive funding from the U.S. government, in order to remain objective in its position as a watchdog organization.

How can I support CHANGE?

You can support CHANGE’s work by subscribing to our e-newsletter and signing up for action updates, or by contributing financially to support our efforts.
